Griselda bug

A new insect has been discovered. It is call the Griselda butterfly and it is named afler me. This butterfly has a big head. It is red and violet. It has pink wings and the thorax is green. It's abdomen is purple. I found it under my book. It moves like a cricket. Now you know about the new insect Griselda Butterfly.

We are learning about -ate family words. My word is late. Late means not on time. I was late on Monday.

My new family words are the -ail family. My word this week is snail. A snail is a slug. I see a snail in the grass.

This week we are learning about the
-ay family words. My word is jay. The blue jay is a bird.

We learned -est words this week . My word is nest. A bird lives in a nest.A nest has eegs.

A meal worms

The meal worm is still fast . It is in the pupa stage.

Wax worms

I see wax worms . They are not the same as meal worms. Wax worms don't have antennas.

My Baby Brother

I do many thing with my baby brother. I like to help my baby brother. I like to play with my baby brother. I like to play with ball with my baby brother. My baby brother is special.

I learned about the -ing family. My word is spring. It means time of year after winter. I like spring because I swim.

-Ock Family

This week we learned -ock words. My word is flock. A flock is a group of birds. I saw a flock in the sky.

Symmetry

A line of symmetry is when you draw a line on a shape and the two sides match when you fold it. I designed a picture with symmetry by using pattern blocks.
